Finding out how much water your household uses is a simple process if you have a water meter. To find out how to read your meter see the page 'Read a Meter'.  Then all you need to do is follow the steps below.

It is easy to find out how much water you are using in three easy steps:  

  1. Once a month take a reading and write it in Column B, the current reading.
  2. Copy down the previous month's reading from Column B above into Column C.
  3. Take column C from Column B, then write the answer in Column D.
