Need to know where you can dispose of your caravan or mobile home wastewater?

There are two dumping facilities in our area that are not within a caravan park.

• Shell Service Station (Hewlett's Road)
• Maleme Street (outside 61 Maleme Street, near the transfer station)

A tap for drinking water has been provided.

The Maleme Street dump station has been installed with an automatic flushing system and a manual system. Once the dump has been completed a button can be pressed and it rinses the dump point.  As far as we know this is the first dump station that has been installed with an automatic system. The precast dump point and some of the signage has been donated by the Motor Home Association.  The dump station will be serviced by the contractor that services the public toilet facilities for Tauranga City Council.
