Tauranga City Council is in the process of updating flood risk information across the city.

You can view the Flood Risk layer on our online mapping system. To access the flood risk layer go to WebView Xtra. 

How to view the Flood Risk map layer in Webview Xtra

When you open WebView Xtra it will show the city of Tauranga. You will need to zoom in closer to the map to view the flood risk layers. Use the magnifying glass tool at the top of the page to adjust the zoom.

You will see a menu on the left hand side called Map Contents. Scroll down to Land Features and ‘reveal’ all of the land feature tick boxes by clicking on the + box.

The easiest way to view the flood layer is by unticking all of the other land features. Leave Flood Risk Information ticked.

It is best to tick the main Land Features box last otherwise the screen will try to refresh everytime you untick each of the land features.
