There are very few places on the roadside where you can legally park a vehicle with a "For Sale" sign on it.

Below is a list of roads where you cannot park a vehicle for sale either on the road or on the grass verge.

16.7 Displaying Vehicles for Sale on Roads

(a) The roads in Schedule 15 are declared to be roads, or parts thereof, where vehicles may not be displayed for  
      sale.

(b) Council may, by resolution, add to or delete from Schedule 15.

(c) No person shall stop or park a vehicle on any section of any road to which this part of the Bylaw applies, or on
     any other road within 30 metres of any intersection of any road to which this part of the Bylaw applies, for the
     purpose of selling that vehicle or advertising that vehicle for sale to the public, or for the purpose of selling to the
     public any matter, object or thing within the vehicle.

16.8 Removal of Vehicles

(a) Council may, at any time, remove any vehicle from a road if the vehicle is stopped or parked on the road 
      in breach of this bylaw, and council considers that the vehicle constitutes or contributes to a threat to the safety    
      of road users or to the efficiency of the road.

(b) Council must use reasonable care in the removal and storage of any vehicle removed under this clause but is 
     not liable for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from the removal of any vehicle under this clause
     unless caused directly by the negligence or its agents or employees.
