Parking officers issue tickets to encourage a turnover of vehicles in pay and display parking areas and to discourage unsafe parking, such as on broken yellow lines.

They can also issue tickets for no warrant of fitness,or no registration.

If you have been issued with a ticket, please read the summary of rights on the back.

If you wish to dispute the ticket, you will need to write to Council within the timeframe given in the summary of rights. Please include the infringement number noted on the notice.

You can pay your ticket in the following ways:

Pay online by Credit Card

Pay your parking fines online

In person at the Council’s customer service centre

At your local Post Shop

Tickets can also be paid at your local Post Shop.  This also applies to payments on reminder notices.

By internet banking

Please make sure you quote the ticket number and your registration number

Time to pay arrangements can be made for infringements over $150.00 i.e. WOF, Licence and tyre offences, however conditions apply.
