Another essential project for our growing city

TECT Arena at Baypark adds nine courts of sporting and event space to the city’s indoor sports network. The TECT Arena contains over 13,000 sq m of useable space across nine sports courts. This includes a 2,400 sq m multi-purpose sports and events auditorium, a 4,700sqm six-court court area, four
meeting rooms, two circulation areas, offices and a large foyer.

A facility for everyone to use

Anyone can hire a court at TECT Arena. Prices for the 3 court and 6 court areas are the same. Youth and pensioner rates apply when 75% of participants are under 18 years of age or 65 years of age and over.
Prices are per court, not per person.

Off peak hire

(Week days before 5pm and all day weekends)

Adult groups: $26.60 per hour
(equates to $1.70 per player if you have two teams of 8)

Youth/pensioner groups: $18.40 per hour
(equates to $1.15 per player if you have two teams of 8)

The above prices apply for regular bookings. Standard prices for casual use are $32.70 per hour for adult groups and $23.00 per hour for youth/pensioner groups.

Peak hire

(Week days after 5pm)
Adult groups: $36.80 per hour
(equates to $2.30 per player if you have two teams of 8)

Youth/pensioner groups: $25.60 per hour
(equates to $1.60 per player if you have two teams of 8)

The above prices apply for regular bookings. Standard prices for casual use are $42.90 per hour for adult groups and $32.20 per hour for youth/pensioner groups.

Sports courts at the TECT Arena:

Netball, basketball, volleyball and badminton. These court markings also allow for mini volleyball, indoor soccer and uni hockey.
Plus provision for Turbo Touch, table tennis, martial arts, indoor bowls, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair basketball.
