Open Space Strategy - a strategy to protect, develop and enhance a network of open spaces

Tauranga has a variety of well established open space areas that play a vital role in the quality of life enjoyed by residents and visitors. Tauranga is fortunate to have access to large areas of coastline and harbour which is a major recreation and open space resource. Large passive reserves also provide additional amenity through planting, walkways and the formation of green corridors throughout the City.  You can read the Open Space Strategy for more information.
