Pre-Pour Inspection

Two inspections of the vehicle crossing are required , a pre-pour, and a final inspection.

Pre-pour Inspection

Pre-pour Inspection - when the concrete boxing is up, just before the concrete is poured.

  • This is to check that all of the vehicle crossing specifications have been adhered to, such as proximity to other services and propoerties, depth, width of crossing etc.

  •  Note that at least 24 hours notice of the concrete being poured is required for the inspection.

Final Inspection

Final Inspection - when the job is complete and ALL council assets are in place and complete (i.e. Water meter, any footpath repairs, the berm is clear etc).

For further information about final inspections, and Asset Protection Bonds, refer to the related questions.
