WINZ may provide an accommodation supplement. The supplement is single from $29 per week, double from $24 per week.
Work and Income New Zealand may be able to assist with the bond payment. If you qualify and wish to apply, you will need to provide the following:
- a complete list of all income details and assets
- a confidential Independent Form filled out by your doctor for yourself / partner
- a Landlord reference
- any supporting financial documents (if you have sold property or are involved in any trusts)
