Tauranga City Council provides eight boat ramps around the city for the public to use. There is no charge to launch boats at any of the City's boat ramps. 

Marine Park Four Lane Ramp (Sulphur Point Boat Ramp)

Located at Marine Park, Sulphur Point, this ramp is suitable for all types of trailer boat and is accessible in all tides.
Other facilities: Pontoons; parking.
Marine Park Four Lane Ramp (Sulphur Point Boat Ramp)

Marine Park Six Lane Ramp (Sulphur Point BMW Track)

Located at Marine Park, Sulphur Point, this ramp is suitable for all types of trailer boat and is accessible in all tides.
Other facilities: Pontoons; parking; toilets
Marine Park Six Lane Ramp (Sulphur Point BMW Track) 

Strand South Ramp

Located on the Strand, this ramp is suitable for small boats and is accessible in most tides.
Other facilities: Jetty; limited parking on pay and display basis Monday - Friday from 9am - 4pm Free on weekends and public holidays.

Kulim Park Ramp

Located at Kulim Park, Kulim Avenue, Bureta, this ramp is suitable for small boats and is accessible at high tides.

Fergusson Park Ramp

Located at Fergusson Park, Tilby Drive, Matua, this ramp is suitable for small boats and is accessible at high tides.

6th Avenue Ramp

Located at 6th Avenue, this ramp is suitable for small boats and is accessible at high tides.

Whareroa Ramp (Harbour Bridge Boat Ramp)

Located at Taiaho Place, Mount Maunganui. This ramp is suitable for all types of trailer boat (subject to head room) and is accessible in all tides.

Pilot Bay Ramp

Located at the end of The Mall, Pilot Bay, Mount Maunganui. This ramp is suitable for all boats and is accessible in all tides.
