Cr. Murray Guy is a four term member of the Tauranga City Council.
He was born in Tauranga and with his wife Marion, until more recent times, operated a passenger coach business and land development activities.
The Guy family is very passionate about their individual recreational pursuits, Murray’s being speedway saloon car racing and Marion’s, golf.
A critical family focus ensures many hours are spent with young grandchildren, until recently, sharing their home with a parent.
